Also!!! I picked up the items I've been eyeing from the Liberty of London Collection and I'm SOOO happy!! They already sold out of the other blush!? Not sure what it's called but it's not the Prim and Proper one.

I normally only like Lustre lipsticks because EVERYTIME i try anything else my lips immediately dry out =( BUT WOW!!! - I used Peachstock over my Warm Smile Tendertone and it's AMAZING!! and my lips are not at all dried out!

Aaaaand I borked it. D: None of my windows are allowing light in in all modes. I opened my game to make a new house, put down a door that brought in light, deleted it, and now NONE of my windows or doors are bringing in light. I took out all of the CC I have downloaded since my last play and still no dice. Disabled CC, still no dice.
Has this ever happened to anyone here? This is driving me crazy. :(
EDIT: I realized my mistake. I turned the lighting all the way down to improve speed and didn't realize this included windows. My apologies, please return to your regularly schedule simming. XD |

Earlier i walked past the estee lauder counter and i saw on the tester stand there was 3 blushes that looked exactly like the mac blush ombre's. I didn't have time to look properly, but the bottom looked the exact same as my ripe peach. I just tried to find it on the site, i can't see it anywhere!
So just incase anyone couldn't get ripe peach go to estee lauder counter and see if they have it! |

So I downloaded a house and it opens up fine. When I double click, the sim2pack installer never starts up. It just started happening recently and I haven't downloaded any other hacks/mods. Can anyone help? |

Today I went to do a back to mac for Liberty of London at THREE different MAC stores (1 freestanding, one within a store, 1 mac pro...yes, tried them all loll) and they ALL refused the exchange. They gave me some BS about how this is a couture collection, and oh-so-very-limited..blabla..
I just don't get it, the glosses and lipsticks are the same price as their normal products, for which they do back to mac. I would have understand if this is a real couture collection (like stylistics, or monogram, or baroque boudoir), and the prices were different.
This is so annoying, as I've been collecting my containers for the past 3 months to do a HUGEEEE back to mac, I even depotted a whole lot of eyeshadows just for this.
What's the point of doing a reward program if there are so many exclusions and exceptions?
Me very disappointed in MAC... right now.lol

| Technical Problem: game crashes out at opening videos |

I have Sims 2 and all of the expansion packs, but none of the stuff packs. I had the game working fine, but it recently developed an issue. Whenever I try to load the game (either with the launcher or without), the screen goes black as if it's going to play the usual opening videos. Then it gives me the standard Windows error sound and crashes to desktop without actually giving me an error message.
I've tried running the game on two different resolutions (1920x1080 and 800x600), with two different sets of drivers (using an nVidia 8600 video card), and the problem persisted even after uninstalling and re-installing the whole series. |

i know this is a mac comm, but there aren't really any other active ones for other make up brands. Today i had a job interview for benefit and it was awful! For 2 hours we had to walk around the department store and approach people an ask 'have they heard of benefit cosmetics?' if yes then it was 'come with me let me show you some products today' if i got the answer i haven't got time or an excuse i was mean't to say that i was finishing my shift soon so it really wouldn't take a second at all then come with me. I then had to apply 4 different items to the customer and say these one liners that sell the product. Some of the items i hate so i felt awful lying!!
Do you think this is really full on? I know when i go to other counters they just ask me if i need any help and maybe show me the new line, but i have never had someone from the other side of the department store come hassle me when i am looking at underwear! I felt it was really forced and fake. It has made me see a different side to them. Would someone coming on this strong annoy you if you were just innocently shopping? |
